Hey, there! I'm J.D. Ventura, the producer of Alexandria Stories. So glad you decided to stop by. As a former newspaper reporter who wrote feature stories about people and the communities within which they lived, I am ceaselessly amazed at the incredible folks that make this city so special. It's one reason why I am proud to call Alexandria home. But reading random posts on social media platforms lacks the intimacy audio and video journalism can provide. It's my hope that Alexandria Stories let's people "hear" and "see" just how wonderful life is here. Some good news for a change -- right in your own backyard!
